I had been needing a new suit and have been interested in this spill repellant material for a while. I liked the design of this one and it went on sale so I figured I'd try it out. Fortunately nothing was spilled on me when wearing it, so unfortunately I didn't get to test out it's abilities too much. I tried sticking the sleeve under the faucet and it seemed to repel the water pretty well. I considered only giving this four stars instead of five stars because honestly I really don't like the personality of this brand. Seems like it's trying too hard to be cheeky in the copy and I really just find it off-putting. But it wouldn't be fair to take points away for that because I'm sure some people love it and not everything has to be for me. Plus, this is a review of the product, not the brand identity. The important thing is that the product is good. That being said, I cannot deny the quality of the product. I had to return the jacket initially because it was too big, but the replacement jacket came quickly and the entire process was very simple and easy. Great customer service and purchasing experience. Once I got a proper fitting jacket and had the pants hemmed, everything fit great and was very comfortable. On top of that, it LOOKS good. I received many compliments in it. I felt cool wearing it. That's a stupid thing to say, but it's true. You deserve the five stars and I have already recommended the brand to several people and will probably buy from Shinesty again in the future.
