I bought the Ball Hammock Pouch 8-Inch Swim Trunks in size S for my boyfriend who is 5'10", 160 lbs. and wears 32 × 30 pants. He's tall, lean, has no hips, but has a small butt. He is Owen Wilson's doppelgänger, just without the bank account. Size small according to the size guide should fit someone with a 29 - 33" waist. While they fit, these are snug if you're sitting or squatting. I recommend sizing UP for a more comfortable fit, even if you're not in between sizes. I don't know about Wilson, but my boyfriend is packing in the front and feels supported. Other than the waistband being a little tight, he loves the fabric, pockets, length, and most of all, the build-in hammocks! I've created a monster when I originally bought the Ball Hammock underwear as a joke. Now it's the only thing he wears for underwear, shorts, or swim trunks. If Shinesty makes sweatpants with build-in hammocks in the future, I'll definitely buy.
