University of Denver men’s basketball student athletes have completed an NIL arrangement with local underwear manufacturer, Shinesty. Shinesty is a Colorado based clothing company that offers a complete line of men’s underwear along with fun and irreverent themed holiday clothing for men & women. The student-athlete campaign focuses on the comfort and the support of the Ball Hammock Pouch® technology offered in the men’s product line.

“Shinesty is such a fun, innovative company,” said versatile forward transfer Tyree Corbett. “Their website and advertisements are fun and engaging but they are serious about fit and comfort. We absolutely love their products. We had so much fun doing the photo shoot – especially for a local company that is so cool!”

Chicago freshman guard Justin Mullins, “We really appreciate Shinesty’s support. They have the same goal that we have as a team - to put out a great product while making a mark in the community. We like to have fun, too - along with winning. Shinesty is a perfect fit for us, literally and figuratively. Hopefully, our social media campaign will help Shinesty grow and at the same time, gain greater visibility for us in the community as well.”

“The folks at Shinesty are awesome to put trust in us to promote their products,” said point guard Tommy Bruner. “After some discussion within our team, we wanted to focus on product attributes with the theme, ‘Shinesty supports DU basketball student-athletes’ and have fun while letting consumers know Shinesty has outstanding products for men…and also women. We hope people check out Shinesty products – the comfort, fit and quality are fantastic. They have built something special – exactly what we are trying to do on the court and in the classroom at the University of Denver as student-athletes.

“We have a motto as a team – ‘seek excellence in everything we do”, said Corbin. “We couldn’t have a better clothing partner than Shinesty. They trusted us to develop our own campaign and let us have some fun along the way. We hope to deliver for them in a big way.”

As of this writing, DU is 9-3 with wins over Idaho, Idaho State and The Citadel among other teams and just returned for LA in a loss to ranked UCLA.
